Major Site Update

Major site update to start implementing some of the changes outlined in "Project Seeking42, Part 1":

• general description of changes
  • revamp home page
    • remove "recent entries by category"
    • expand list of "recent articles by date"
  • revamp archives
    • remove "recent articles by date"
    • add new pages for archives by category
  • remove "self improvement" category, split "culture and travel"
    • move existing "self improvement" articles to "tips and techniques"
    • split "culture and travel" category into "arts and sciences" (art, history, literature, entertainment, science) and "travel" (touring, camping, hiking, trips)
    • category colors: "arts and sciences" blueviolet, "travel" olivedrab
    • remove "travel series" from travel articles
  • miscellaneous
    • update "site reference" page
    • add "eclipse series"
    • remove most "site update" entries from prev/next linkages and "site update" series (only include major site updates)
